They exist and science hasn't been 100%
for humanity either. The Atomic bomb is probably the best example of science being used against humanity. There were also plenty of scientists who worked for, and used data from the Holocaust. Science is simply a tool, not something to be venerated. It is very good in achieving its aims but it also has short falls.
