We have both 2" & 1.25" filters.
The 2" is used on our 27mm & 17mm, both being 2" barrels and the 1.25 is used on the 10mm & 7mm.
The most pleasing views of Orion - Tarantula & Eta Carina for us are with the 17mm.
With your 8 - 13 - 17mm I would definately go for the 1.25", also considering the cost factor. Unless you are planning on buying more 2" ep's
If you wanted to be able to use the same filter on all ep's, 2" filters can be screwed on to the bottom of your 2"\1.25 adapter and 1.25" ep's can then be used with a 2" filter, but you would need to fit a spacer between the adapter and the filter so that the bottom of the 1.25" ep barrel did not touch the filter.A cheap colour filter frame ( with glass removed is best used as this spacer ). If you go that way I can let you know best place to get one for a spacer
I still think the best way to go with your ep's would be the 1.25" as the most used ep's will be your 13 & 17mm.
