Hi Steve.
I'm not aware of a long-exposure firmware update - I thought the only update was for a faster framerate.. that is, 60fps instead of the default maximum 30fps.
My DMK21AF04 can already do 30s exposures, though i'm yet to try it.
I'll do some digging around and see if I can find anything for you.
