Backyard for me. Skies aren't terrribly dark but they're still pretty good for my area. Can't see anything to the North (there's a park that our house backs onto, trees block the view) and the West is pretty obstructed as well, but apart from that it's completely clear. Only a few streetlights but they're pretty unreliable and constantly turn off for no reason, so usually it's pretty good.
Apart from that I go up with the family to a block of land in Cliffton (town in the middle of nowhere) faaaaar from any cities and with unobstructed views
