I travelled through England, Wales and Scotland in '94. Had a historic points of interest book in my lap the entire time. The castles, Hadrians Wall, Stone Henge, etc etc.
Being a fan of "All Creatures Great and Small" I just had to track down anything related to the show as well.
I'd love to go back sometime.
Next time I'll be taking an interest of Astronomy with me as well.
