"Legendary" Old/Young Moon Opportunity

All,

"I saw the Old Moon in the morning and the Young Moon the evening of the following day". So says the legend.

The Moon will be 19-20hrs from New on the morning of the 20th and 19-20hrs past New on the evening of the 21st for Australia and New Zealand. As the New Moon is occurring near the December (was winter but I know HOughy may be lurking about) solstice the Moon will be very "observable" at both ends of this event.

Clear, dark skies,

Ed
