So,
why not go the Palm/Dave EK DSC way.
I have a set on my dob, Robby has s et on his Losmandy GM8, and I recall seeing another forum member with them.
The challenge is the Dave Ek Decoder box, and mine was made by a local (NZ) electical whiz. Robby will probably tell you it is easy, but in my case I would have been stuck. Encoders came from the US.
There are plenty of aftermarket DSC's about, just depends on the level of your ability to make them fit.
