After moving house recently I was itching to get outside and try some imaging from my new garden. It has been a month (a whole lunar cycle
) since I was last able to get out at night, and I was having withdrawal symptoms.
I managed to snap a few images of Orion using the camera on the StarTracker. This pic shows Orion's sword. It is a crop from a 15 deg. wide field view. 19 x 64 sec, f 6.7, ISO 400. Stacked and processed in Iris. Stretched in Registax.
I feel much better now.
