Yep, that's right. You only need to modify the Toucam if you need to do Long exposure Deep Sky Astrophotography. For anything else it's fine out of the box as long as you get an adaptor for it.
The adaptor just screws in to the front when you unscrew the little lense. That way the Toucam fits into the scope like an Eyepiece
