Hi Tony, I'm Italian as well so no grass at our place either, just lots of nice flat surfaces for tripods.
I'll bet you have a fantastic vege garden and fruit trees as well. That's what was left by my Dad when he passed away, but I thank him for it now with the price of fruit and vege the way it is now.
