Actually if you think about it, if my stuff was pinched, and it was insured for replacement value, i really wouldn't want to get it back from the theives.
As i'm sure we all do, we look after our stuff and handle it with great care, theives dont care and would not respect the property, and just knock it about or just fiddle with it and stuff it up.
Who knows what it would come back like.
Anyway that's just my opinion.
