I agree with Jase and Astromark, keep an eye out in the Trading Post and on E-Bay (we all should). Even mention it to the barmen at your local pub and clubs. Make sure you give them a list of all the stolen items. I assume you've told the police. We had our office broken into several years ago. Only small items were stolen, but the police recovered virtually all of it.

I guess this is a warning to all of us that we should keep our gear under lock and key. It would also be worth finding out if your normal home insurance would cover astronomy gear, or whether you would have to get an extension of sorts.

Having someone invade your home and steal your property leaves a horrible sick feeling in your stomach. I really feel for you.
