Hi Gary, We meet at River Heads which is at the mouth of the Mary River. The current site is on the water at 9 metres elevation facing ENE, viewing over the Great Sandy Straights, Fraser Island and roughly half way between Hervey Bay and Maryborough.
We have some moderate local light pollution and the loom of H.B and Maryborough but still get to see objects down to mag. 14 or less with medium apeture reflectors.
