Thumbs up Sunrise with the new Sigma 17-70

These were taken on the 18th October 2006, about 5am one morning on the way to work.

350D + new 17-70mm Sigma lens (first try out!) on the Manfrotto 055ProB/141RC head.

Most of the shots are long exposures, from 6 seconds when I first got there, to 1/2s by the time the sun had risen, all at ISO100.

Processed the RAWs in RawShooterPremium, followed by Photoshop for sharpening + web size.

1. This one is a panorama of 4 "landscape" orientation shots. The large version is quite stunning (at least I think so ), the large version is here (500k jpeg).
2. This is a panorama of 3 "portrait" orientation shots.

The 5th shot is a result of HDR combining of an overexposed and underexposed shot.

Any questions let me know, thanks for looking.

I do love the new lens!
