Hi I observe from my back yard in Glenore Grove SE Queensland about 1hr west from Brisbane. Nice dark sky except for some sky glow in the East from Brisbane but only to about 25degs up which does not lend itself for best viewing anyway.
Am in the middle of building a roll off roof observatory . Considered all designs but due to my dark sky I like to be able to see the entire sky . Why block a beautiful view with a dome and small slit if you don't need to.
