They are a good size and good price but of prime importance to me is comfortable seated observing, otherwise I would have gone for the 12". I need GSO to make a 12" f4.5 or a 13" f4.
I'm looking forward to the ultra fast set up time which should be about the same as the time it takes to set up the tripod for the LX90, and I've found from experience that the 10" gives significantly more satisfying views than 8". It'll be interesting to see which scope I prefer after a few months.
