That was my #1 bugbear in my previous life as a moderator here.
It seemed that a high proportion of moderator actions would spawn a thread to tell the whole world about it in an attempt to garner public sympathies
I think that doesnt happen nearly as often these days , which is a good thing.
Moderators have a tough thankless job and dont deserve to be subject to a
public enquiry everytime they make a decision that somebody doesnt like.
