We had a black out last night (Tues) from about 21:00 for about 1/2 hour,I went out side to see the sky,and even though there was heavy cloud all around, it was still GREAT to see no lights not one.If only people could see what a difference it makes with no street lights,veranda,security etc: they would all be into Astronomy
and think of the money they would save and burn less coal, ah well one can only dream.BTW the black out was in the Gosford area,maybe other places as well on the East Coast,as there was a problem with a power station further Nth.
