M69
In 1994 I analysed Lacaille's catalogue and found that his positions were accurate. Only one object was not correct, M69. Messier wrote that Lacaille found M69 but Lacaille actually found a group of 4 stars 1.2 degrees away from M69 at RA 18h30m, dec -33d 31'.
If you include objects found by others, Lacaille's catalogue contains
25 Open Clusters, 7 Globular Clusters, 4 Asterisms, 3 Nebulae (M8, NGCs 2070 and 3372) and the Galaxy M83.
