Computers are always my bottleneck. While I like my son to have reasonably late gear where possible (not high spec) I'm content with a cheap HP compact desktop I got from Greys auctions for maybe $50. It's an I7 but nothing remotely current.
I struggle to process /stack images from my D810 with my gear, it locks up, esp[especially trying to stack large files. Anything remotely newer than 10 years old is going to throw a spanner in my works.
I'll wait till they fit the camera to the James Webb, lol.
Saying that as I mentioned cost alone is going to put it at the top of the scientific world so there could be some very nice data coming in eventually.
