Alloway Observatory
After visiting my sister in Maroochydore , my wife and I did a road trip to Bargara on the coast from Bundaberg for some R&R.
On the way back just outside Bundaberg I spotted an Observatory only 20m in from the road. I checked on the internet and it’s the Alloway Observatory which has viewing nights for the general public every Friday evening. It’s a shame we had to get back down to the Sunshine Coast as I would have enjoyed a nights viewing. The nights have been super clear up here ( except for a big ol moon )
Anyone been to this Observatory ?
