So I guess the screw is just there for safety?
It would need to be removed it was going to be used in a 2" focuser. It seems strange that is is there at all, the bottom section is quite firmly held in possition buy its own thread.
I was considering a 13mm Hyperion but then I saw this EP on ebay which ended up only $30 more expensive. It seems to be held in high regard...
I hope I have made the right choice, this is my first EP purchase.
