PI is now sounding very reasonable. I paid about $350 for it in 2017, so hasn't changed much since then +/- exchange rate changes. And I've never had to pay for any upgrades - and I don't think I'd object if there was some major revision given the cost of Photoshop. That's the American tech monopolies for you
I also occasionally use GIMP in a very rudimentary way.
