Ian looking good mate, I had my SkyShed Pod on the ground for a few years.

From my experience I would get it on solid footing of some sort sooner rather than later. I had the following issues.

1. Dampness coming up out of the ground was not good for my astro gear.
2. When it rained it seeped under the walls.
3. Generally during heavy wet weather it got muddy inside.
4. Although the POD is designed for any base under it, I found the unit did start to lean due to the weight on top and it not being secured at the floor level. Due to this when I moved it onto a concrete slab the side panels were no longer as straight and level as when I purchased it. I know it was all good when I purchased it as it was already on a concrete slab and I disassembled it.

Just my learning from being where you are going.

Clear Skies
Carl
