As I type, I'm doing my very first session on Narrow Band. The Sky is good tonight and as always the moon is out too - hence why I went down this path.
I have Ha, S2 and 03 now. If I have time I'll go back to M83 and get some Ha. I'm still learning how to add Ha to my RGB or OSC image in PI...  |
I might have mentioned before , the Oiii filter has the least defence against light pollution and moon glare , mainly moon glare. Hence I usually schedule my Oiii capture when the moon is low, located away from the scope or on another night when it’s affect is not as severe. This does help but sometimes not possible due to location of the target or impending cloud etc…
