I've had this mount sitting around for ages, It was one of my first mounts and I used it often for observing the moon and planets etc and some astrophotography with a lighter payload.it's been lubricated and has had bearing added to make it much smoother and better to use.
It sits on an Eq5 tripod and is a breeze to use and set up. just note this is not for super duper full on multi night Astrophotography sessions but for a decent portable rig with a light payload it reaps its rewards. It guide well and does produce some very good results.
I've had it take 5 minute subs
with excellent results.
Comes with 3.5 kg and 1.25 kg counterweights as well.
