Unfortunately,Ruby coated lenses,tend to be a "Bit of a Gimmick"
From what I have read,(And I am no Expert),they appear to HIDE,some of the Shortcomings,of the Binocular to which they are applied to.
Please check "Cloudy Nights Binocular Forum",
BEFORE, you take MY word.
From what I understand,they tend to REDUCE,actual Brightness,to the eye,in Night Skies.
Probably ok for daytime viewing.
Several years ago,when MAGNIFICATION,was the Primary Objective,I also bought a 10-30x 60 off Ebay.
They,NEVER get used Nowadays.
