As for a work around for such a system I would imagine it would be something the company making the software should make allowances for.
I'm not stating this is your issue but my son mentioned it is something which happens in some circumstances. He suggested seeing if you have an extra dark mode and trying that instead of the programs night mode.

Thank you Leo & your son. I fiddled some with the tablet & SS7, and found a SS7 virtual keyboard as well as the one that comes with the tablet. So, all sorted out .
