Hello there Tasview,
I have a pair of Saxon 10X50 binos which have ruby lenses. Cost me $95.00 new. I dont know as much as a lot of the helpful folk on this site but they seem to achieve everything that I would expect out of binoculars, very clear and good contrast. Definatly best mounted on a tripod though as they get tiring to hold.
