Something different - Orion's Finger

My last image and first with the new Starlightxpress Trius814 Pro camera, was accumulated back in Oct/Nov, but sadly, it was the one year anniversary of the death of our son Ben in December, so things were a little somber and saw my wife and I do some cathartic travelling during December, including tracing Bens last days .

This data was collected over three nights during January under good to acceptable seeing conditions but some thin high cloud and sky/aurora glow, caused a little annoyance a couple of times.

Over many years now, when viewing wider field shots of M42, my eye has often been drawn to this finger shaped bit of nebula. A regular thought over the years has been "I've never seen a close up shot of this cool little globule, I should shoot it one day." ...so, fiiiinally, ta daaah!

This intriguing but quite faint ghostly feature, is a small (approx. 12' X 4') globule of dusty emission nebula, located right next to the Great Nebula in Orion, a distant outer bluish filament of which, extends down from the top in this framing.

I have never seen an image of just this feature before, so, where is it?...(see attached wide field by Miguel Claro)
