Glad you're interested Tj ... this IS priced to sell, and as much as I'd love to keep it (as would my brother, shame he can't afford it at present!) the truth is the money is already spent and it's time to pay the piper! Let me know asap re your finances Tj.

Anyone else who is seriously interested please get your name down now by posting a reply, in case the list grows fast you may want to be in early.

While I think of it the main mirror is made of BK7 glass, which is apparently pretty good for this kind of thing, and is rated at 1/12th wave accuracy - all I know is the view looks damn good at the business end! The OTA has focal length of 1250mm, making it an f5 scope - fast, but not too fast! The focusser is a 2" Crayford (much smoother and easier than a rack and pinion to reach and hold good focus) and comes with a 2" to 1.25" adaptor so between these you can use any standard sized eyepiece (most of you would already know that I guess).

Here's a quick pic of the dob taken out the back yard one night, also a pic of the moon I took through the eyepiece - let me tell you I am NOT an astrophotographer by any means, but the scope did itself proud I feel, being hampered by me at the camera!

With luck I'll post more pics later this afternoon of the ep's, etc .... I've just come home from work and I need a few hours sleep first.
