After successfully operating my Skywatcher EQ8 mount for over ten years I've decided to upgrade to a new mount, hence my old workhorse is now up for sale. The EQ8 is specified as having a 50Kg payload though I have never pushed this mount anywhere near that.

The mount head weight comes in at 25Kg and then we have the 2 x 10Kg counterweights and counterweight shaft. Given the overall weight I don't think that shipping is an option so we are looking at a pick up from Glanmire NSW (near Bathurst).
The package includes:
- The original shipping box
- The EQ8 mount head
- 2 x 10Kg counterweights
- Counterweight shaft
- Power cable
- Hand controller
- EQ dir cable for connection to PC
Note that this mount is one of the original series so is NOT the EQ8 R version. It has been performing well for me over the years. See attached images of mount taken prior to de-installation.
I'm thinking that $2,200 or near offer is a reasonable starting point for this mount.
