That's another beautiful image Joe!
We've had nothing but cloud and storms in Lithgow.
The starlapse has done an amazing job and I've prepared a spot in my yard to get my Astro-Trac I've still never used out and try for Orion, if this cloud and near winter conditions ever disappear.
I think it's the first summer in my 24 years here where the aircon hasn't been turned on once (it's free with solar through the day). I've used the fan maybe 3 times and blankets/ dooners most nights, a very strange summer.


I'm not familiar with the starlapse system is that a standard driven Losmandy mount it's on?
The Astro-Trac has a 15KG limit but requires two heads on the tripod which the one on the Astro trac itself will be inclusive in the total weight. I am however keen to play when weather and health permit. Sadly it won't be a Comet and who wants photos of a flying Tesla?
