IC 2118 Witch head nebula

Here is my next image, IC 2118 or know as the Witch head nebula. It’s an extremely faint reflection nebula illuminated by the nearby star Rigel in Orion. The witch head is about 900 light yrs away from Earth. The nature of the dust particles, reflecting blue light better than red, is a factor in giving the Witch Head its blue colour.

As the wet season has set in, January has pretty much been cloudy almost every night this month where I live in the mountains, I have only managed to get 5hrs of data at 4min subs unguided.

Telescope: Willam optics FLT91 with 0.8x reducer = 430mm FL
