I wish he'd bring the entire flock!
It's very rare to see these birds without a mate and/or young one. Even more unusual is after seeing the bird in my front yard and running in the house to grab my Canon compact didn't disturb it and walking back out, closing the front door and walking around the bird to get a better angle it didn't spook. They are generally very easily spooked.
