All of the old wiring and crap has been removed and discarded. An old 2 prong jug plug (lead) which belongs to another old slide projector I have fitted straight on the rear pins.
Originally it had a 2 pin British round plug. They are still widely used around the world but since this unit is only for display I may not bother chasing one up.
Though I'm intrigued about projecting through the lens the image was captured through and must try that.
