Vintage slide projector identification
Can anyone help me with any information about a vintage slide projector I recently acquired?
It's a very small unit, all bakelite construction and sadly minus it's front focusing lens but the gentleman who gave me the old thing may still have that I'm hoping.
The only markings are an emblem stamped into the front and Google search with the image has so far turned up nothing.
It didn't look like this when I was given the thing, all metal surfaces had significant surface rust which I hit with brass wool, fine wet and dry, coated with Penetrol and spray painted silver with a spray can. I am awaiting a response from a company in NSW as to getting the few metal parts nickel plated or, will eventually get sick of getting no response, pull my nickel welding rods out and do it myself (I have the necessary chemicals bought to nickel plate copper contacts on a circuit board my son was making) . The wiring, I hadn't touched that (and am betting it was all illegal and know it was very dangerous).
I did however remove the wires attached and fitted (plugged) an old 2 pin jug cord onto it, it's not right but it's a good fit on the 2 pins and it will do for now, it's a lot safer. I haven't however plugged it in, I have no need for it other than display purposes.
