Edmund Scientific Corp 28mm RKE eyepiece
Vintage Edmund Scientific Corporation RKE 28mm 1.25" eyepiece.

If you havn't heard of it, you are probably under 50 and will not appreciate its desirability. Check out Cloudy Nights and you will see why people want one of these 'floating in space' eyepieces.

This example is an early one, probably from the 1990's, with assembly and quality control in the US before Edmund Scientific Corp was sold and rebranded Edmund Optics. It is metal, hefty and stunning to use.
