Another possibility you may wish to consider is an MTO-1000, which is a 1100mm f/10.5 Russian made Mak-Cassegrain. It is essentially a telescope with a camera T-mount. There is one for sale eBay at the moment in NSW. Maybe the location is close enough for you to take a look.
