For the members who are not familiar with the spectroheliograph (SHG) - it's basically a hi resolution spectroscope fitted to a telescope.
It has the potential (as can be seen here) to image the Sun in any wavelength - Cak, Mg, Na, Ha etc. etc.
Much more flexible than traditional commercial solar filters, Oh and much cheaper!
