Faint outer planets Uranus, Neptune & Pluto can be located in seconds, as can difficult-to-find comets, galaxies and nebula.

Gondwana Telescopes founder and scope builder Alexander Massey was commissioned to build the upgraded base from marine plywood with digital encoders.

The custom base Alex built looks like a piece of art.

Encoders and Nexus-2 DSC (digital setting circles) enable you to view 20-30 galaxies per hour with breathtaking accuracy. This is very helpful in April, May & June when the rich Virgo galaxy cluster is at its best (see last photo).
