Well, that AM5 is really a very nice mount indeed! I stuck my Sigma 70-200 F2.8 plus the x2 teleconverter on it last night, with a ZWO duo-band filter and 294MC camera.
I don't have a guide scope or that setup, but in preview mode (using an ASI air mini to control the lot) it seemed that 5 minute subs would be no problem at all.
Since the weather forecast here is turning un-great for the next week or so, I set up a bunch of 2 1/2 hour runs for four targets, so I'd hopefully get some nice data to play with.
Hot off the siril press this morning is this M8. It's a quick scripted auto-stack stack with the wrong duration dark frames (I need to shoot new ones at 300s) but wow I am *very* happy with this
