Quite an engineering feat for the 1920’s to mimic the movement of the night sky in precise detail under a huge Dome. The Germans were certainly leaders in science and engineering leading up to WW2.

My wife and I visited the Greenwich Royal Observatory in July last year which included an hour in the Peter Harrison Planetarium ( built 2007) It was enjoyable to view the northern hemisphere night sky and see many of our southern popular celestial objects very low on the horizon
I think every primary school kid should visit a planetarium at some stage.
