18” SDM crafted Dob with Sutching mirror and Goto
Due to changed circumstance's I need to sell my amazing SDM 18” Dob.
This is the second finest Newtonian I have used (the finest was another 24” SDM). It is in great condition both optically and mechanically.
This one is number 34, the SDM website has some of the details, this is a superb instrument and anyone buying this will be very happy. SDM have a well earned reputation for building high quality Dobsonian systems and yes, size does matter.
Comes with a goto system which works amazingly well, after a two star calibration targets are always in the field of view in my 24mm panoptic eyepiece.
Due to its size, pickup from Dunkeld, NSW is the only option.
