. The skies were measured at a hair's-breadth off Bortle 1 by one of the attendees. Once the moon went down, the stars were bright enough to walk around by, no torches needed.
It wasn't all fun, though - the dew was so heavy overnight that I had pools of water forming on my equipment cases. A great venue, too.

There was. It was announced by BigDave last August (
https://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/...d.php?t=206727) and I posted a reminder in January. If you are in the ASV, it was flogged pretty heavily in their email newsletters.
They've already booked the venue for 2025, in late March.
