IC2944 crop- The Gizzards
Gizzard: specialized stomach constructed of thick muscular walls is used for grinding up food, often aided by particles of stone or grit.
I've always been interested in these central chunks of the running chicken nebula - fittingly for this nebula - they are known as "Bok Globules"
