There seems to be some omission there.
When I worked there we made cartridge cases for ships and tanks, fuzes for assorted heavy guns, grenades, shoulder rockets and rifle and pistol ammunition. The small arms ammunition was filled and tested on site, while the other bigger components were sent to be filled at St Marys. It says the factory closed down in 1994 - but I was still there in 1995, my office being where the Aldi car park is now.

And another bit of history - the movie "Romper Stomper" was filmed in the old closed down plant at the back of the property. The film crew would have lunch in our canteen - but not the actors.
