Talking A Night Out

hi all

i went out again for the first since the 22-03-05

i went to the m42 nebula first still great to look at .

then i had a quick look a saturn and saw five of its moon quite easily

then i swung around to the LMC And I can now say for sure that ive seen the tarantula (NGC2070) cool

although it didnt seem tobe as clear as the last time though this was around 20.30 pm

i also had my binocs out with me
i saw a faint blob with them to the left of the southern cross (this is a rough location guide)

i had a look for it in the dob using the 2 inch 32mm gso finally found it

inserted the 15mm plossl and i am sure it was the m68 globular wow what a sight

had a look at jupiter while i was there
it was a bit better look at then the last time wasnt swimming as much but kept moving in and out of focus for some reason (viewing conditions id guess)
so left it until about 10.45 pm when i had another look not much better at this time iether but i couldve sworn i saw the faint or distortion (if you know what i mean ?) of the GRS very cool

i decided to chuck it in for the night

11.00 by this time (was up by 5.15 this morning )
