Irony?....the rain caused the water level in the dam to rise and submerge the fire pump...but short term I don't really need it.
The key is not to worry either way.
The rain was so heavy the other night I could not hear my "rain tape" that I play to hear the comforting sound of rain.
On the bright side there are plenty of specimens for the microscopes and I don't need to water the garden.
