I agree it’s extremely disappointing and frustrating
Sorry for more bad news but this trend of cloudy nights on most of the NSW east coast is set to continue for a while yet.
There might be the odd clear half night here and there but generally crap until early March.
The higher than average humidity and converging warm air streams from south east and north west is the culprit. Definitely an unusual weather pattern
I image from Sydney and observe and image from south coast NSW and haven’t used my rigs since the 29th October 2023.
The worst continuous period of cloudy nights since starting the hobby back in 2017.
I’m happy to put up with this weather than have bloody bushfires that’s for sure.
